Conditions and precautions for using cast copper heaters

- May 24, 2019-

The working conditions allowed by the cast copper heater include the relative dryness of the atmosphere greater than 95%, no explosive corrosive gas; the voltage does not exceed 1.1 times the rated value, and at the same time it can be reliably grounded; the insulation resistance is ≥1MΩ, which is the heater The safe use provides a good foundation.

Secondly, the cast copper heater should be positioned and flowed. The effective heating zone must be partially immersed in liquid or metal solids. It is strictly forbidden to burn. If there is scale or carbon in the pipe, it should be removed and cleaned in time to avoid the impact. Heat dissipation for extended life.

When it is heating the fusible metal or solid nitrate, alkali, leaching, paraffin, etc., the operating voltage should be reduced first, and then the medium is cooled to the rated voltage. When the atmosphere is heated, the components should be evenly cross-connected, so that the components have excellent heat dissipation conditions, so that the flowing atmosphere can be fully heated.

The wiring part of the cast copper heater should be placed in the insulation layer to avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media and moisture; the lead wire should be able to withstand the temperature and heating load of the wiring part for a long time; avoid excessive force when tightening the terminal screws.
