How to choose proper heating element material?

We know the material of electric heating tube, which is mainly divided into: stainless steel 201, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 321, stainless steel 310s, stainless steel 316, Ingle material and so on. Each material has its own characteristics, so only choose the right material, it is a good electric heating tube material.


The material of the electric heating tube is mainly selected according to the following aspects:


First, the working temperature

The working temperature is about 200-300 degrees, and the material of stainless steel 304 is used.

The working temperature is about 400-500 degrees, and the material of stainless steel 321 is used.

The working temperature is about 600-700 degrees, and the material of stainless steel 310S is used.

The working temperature is around 800-900 degrees, using Ingle materials.


Second, heating medium

Tap water: made of stainless steel 304;

Oil: stainless steel 304 or iron.




Third, is there any corrosive

Heat weak acid weak alkaline liquid: Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 316L.

Heating strong acid strong alkaline liquid: reference - liquid electric heater material selection table (stainless steel 316 + electrostatic anti-corrosion coating, generally any acid-alkaline liquid can withstand, the power per meter is generally set to about 2KW, slightly larger can.)

Through the above understanding, we know that only the appropriate electric heating tube material can be considered as a better electric heating tube material.
