Test method and acceptance rules for bolted electric heaters

- Jan 15, 2019-

After the assembly of each electric heater, the insulation resistance of the electric heater shall be not less than 50MΩ at room temperature with a 500V megohmmeter, and shall withstand the 1500V withstand voltage test for 1min without breakdown or flashing, and then in the air. Electric heating under rated working voltage for 2-3min, no overheating, and insulation resistance shall not be lower than 0.5MΩ, leakage current shall not exceed 0.5mA per kW, and its power shall be tested to meet the ordering requirements (deviation ±5%). After that, check that all parts of the electric heater are intact.
